This is really an ongoing collection of... well...

eclecticisms. Whims du jour. Perhaps some things that matter, along with some that absolutely don't but might be fun anyway, or just plain silly... perhaps we'll get lucky and do something helpful (hacks, tips, things we've discovered); and maybe some serious ventures and adventures (not in the sense that we need to advertise our ventures... Although... nevermind).

And if you come back (or sign up for my email newsletter here) you just might get snippets of stories I'm working on, or from upcoming books; a tip or two from my tastebuds (you never know what might roll off my tongue...); some random, seasonal, tongue-in-cheek excitement from my 'NCAA Football Lite' or 'NCAA Basketball Lite', especially during March Madness and the Playoff formerly known as BCS (thank goodness it's 'former'); or any other things we should probably just call... endeavors.

Here's a little story about a couple of recent... infections... from 'March Madness Lite'. See, occasionally I write little ditties, previews (some "postviews") of college football (emails to friends and family, mostly), and this past season, college basketball.

It all started one fateful morning when I realized a certain team from Tennessee would be playing a certain team from Kentucky in college basketball.

The reason it started was that we have friends in Tennessee, and while we don't follow the Vols THAT regularly, once in a while we experience a fit of orange and, well, we want to honor our orange friends. And for some reason, I was in a silly-limerickish-rhyming mood...
